It requires synthesis of new knowledge by accomplishing a “task” often to solve a hypothetical problem or address e real world issue. Simpler web activities designed for students to investigate and collect new knowledge from web-based sources can also be a more engaging and effective replacement for read- the-chapter-and-complete-the-review-questions.

WEBQUEST is a big help for the students as well as for the teachers in learning. It provides new learning and information. It encourage for the students to learn with enthusiasm because they are learning by doing. The higher order thinking skills of the students will develop. Because of WEBQUEST the knowledge, curiosity, creativeness, awareness and cognitive skill and behavior of the students enhance. Each of the students will be trained independent and can think logically to solve the problems. They will learn how to appreciate and to observe. The application of the webquest will stimulate the critical thinking of the students.
